Our Philosophy:
Everyone you know is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always. (unknown)
Life can be difficult--problems add up. Sometimes you just don't know where to turn. We realize that picking up the phone and calling for help may be the hardest thing you will ever do...but it will be the best thing you do. Your life is a big deal and we take that seriously. When you meet your counselor you can work together to develop a plan to get you where you want to go. If you don't have an idea about what that is or where or how to start, your counselor will help. He or she will be kind. Always!
About Us:
In 2001 Mercy House opened its doors to provide a different treatment experience to our area. We wanted to to be known for several distinctives: hiring only therapists felt counseling was a vocation, who convey genuine heart-felt concern for their clients, who have outstanding academic and practical experience and are able to offer faith-based therapy to those who desired it, and giving their best to those who don't. We also looked for office staff that exhibit similar concern for anyone who called the office, who would welcome people the way they would family members. Doris and Lisa do just that! Now nearly 22 years later we are more than excited about Mercy House, the potential of those we serve and how we perform that service . My staff is totally bought in with our vision of "Restoring Hearts and Homes." Their care and dedication shows in their dealings with each other and those they serve. We extend an invitation to "visit our home.
Mercy House is a 501c3 -Non-profit
