Mercy House Honduras

Lay Counselors, June 20, 2014

Graduates of a 6 month lay counseling class, authored by Joel Kightlinger in, LaCeiba, Honduras.  Joel Kightlinger, clinical supervisor regularly travels to Honduras to train nationals. In addition Mercy House has funded college education for two deserving individuals to train as counselors.  They will in turn give 3 years of service to Mercy House, Honduras.  We are excited about this partnership and have been going to Honduras for several years now.  Drug addiction and trauma is rampant-this is an oppurtunity for us to give back to those in need.

We have a Mercy House plant is La Ceiba, Honduras that opened in early 2014.

Counselor Keyci Ruiz, Mercy House Honduras, La Ceiba Church.  We skype each week with Keyci to review her cases and to encourage her in her calling.

On left is Cindy, currently enrolled in college classes to become a counselor at Mercy House House Honduras. Joel Kightlinger, clinical supervisor in the middle, travels twice yearly to Honduras to train workers and counselors and staff.  Keyci is far left.  Mercy House has financially sown into these 2 ladies' education and supports a business college student as well.  They are the hope for change for the future of Honduras.

I would like to donate to the work in Honduras.  100% of proceeds go directly to support the Center in La Ceiba.
